How to Live with, Manage Symptoms, and Find Freedom from Chronic Pain
Chronic Pain is unlike pain from injury or overuse. It cannot be treated in the same way. Chronic stress and/or trauma will generate subconscious responses that require conscious reprogramming. The state of your nervous system becomes overstimulated requiring a holistic and integrated approach to healing.
Common and often overlooked symptoms of chronic pain include:
- pain or tension typically occurring on the right side of the body, recurring injury on the right side of the body, posture leaning to the right side, resting your weight on the right side (shoes wear more on the right side, using arm rests on the right side), bruise easily or often
- feeling anxious even when there is no “reason,” racing thoughts/mind never shuts off, brain fog/there’s a barrier blocking you from responding in the way you want to, your needs come after everything else has been taken care of (work, family, financial responsibilities), you have difficulty asking for or receiving help/feel like you should be able to take care of things yourself
In this free online workshop, we will:
discuss common misconceptions about pain
perform a self-assessment
identify steps you can take toward eliminating pain
